hey everybody whats going on well im just wondering how to keep up the humidity....Right now its about 40% humidity and about 75 degrees I have a tupperware with a wet paper towel in it but it dries up so fast it doesn't really do anything also I sprayed his cage down a bit and the humidty came up but guess its all dried now. His medium is that dirt that comes in the brick form so im thinking of just moistening the dirt down a bit. How does everyone else do it especially since summer is here.

40 is alright for a corn. during shed though I moisten some moss and put it in a hide. It stays moist for several days.

oh really is there much of a difference between 40 and 50 im just worried because lately my snake has been have some dry skin issues and i think it was from lack of humidity to arid and dry in the cage when should i start to worry at 30 then???

some ways to up the humidity in your tank is to add a larger water dish, take a spray bottle and spray around the glass and moisten the substrate abit but not too much. They all so make automatic misters that will mist the tank.

I live in a pretty arid area, but I don't worry about humidity. You can reduce airflow into your tank. If you have a screentop, cover it partially. I just give my snakes humid hides when they're going into shed. I use upturned clay flowerpots as hides and wet the flowerpots when they're in shed.

Crunk, isn't this like the third time you've asked this same (or nearly the same question) in the last few weeks?

alright cool yeah i've been moistening the substrate down and he has a hide out that i put moisten towels or moss in it. His skin is looking alright and the reason i keep asking similar questions chimp is because of his past issue with the dry skin it had to be from low humidity so im just worried i don't want his skin problem to come back but so far so good so thanks for the help everybody
