how do you know the snake is het for something?

I'm looking at this okeetee (which i think may be a normal) but the seller claims she is het bloodred. Is there a way to tell for sure? It's not a very good picture of her.

Ya, that looks like a normal to me, and not something I would ever call an okeetee. Interesting aztec pattern though.

To prove out if it's het, you need to breed it.

She is beautiful. I was going to take her until they said they were going to charge for gas to the airport, $40 for shipping box and $70.00 for the actual flight. The total came to $230 for shipping. Far too much for shipping within Canada.

I was told the mother was an Okeetee and the father a bloodred.

I am trying to negotiate shipping costs, so we'll see. Even if she isn't het blood, her pattern should offer something.

folks have long said het bloodreds can show some visual aspects, such as clear or mostly clear bellies or some "erasing" of side blotches. I have a friends pair here, and they really dont offer much clue visually that they are het bloodred (diffuse) other than having a real funky belly lol.

Thats a neat Aztec. I have one that has the exact same three dash head pattern...
