i was wondering after looking at so many pics the snakes look like they are really fat how fat or whats is the girth of the snake when they are adults? some pics look like the snake is as round as a tennis ball can they get that big?

Hey,
I think the really fat ones that you have seen maybe gravid.
If you could get a cross section of a Corn snake it should look like a loaf of bread. Flat on the bottom, straight angling out a bit on the sides and round on the top.
Snakes can get fat, the bottom will look round. Like us being overweight is never good.

Corns are very thin snakes when compared to most pythons and don't really get 'fat' unless gravid or over-fed. But corns have very small heads which, I suppose, could make them seem odd-looking.

Yeah, I have noticed that small head thing. My juvie/yearling recently had a growth spurt and grew several inches over a few weeks but his head remains the same size. It looks so weird! He's still cute though. :)
