My corn hasn't eaten for 5 weeks now. He is around a year old and i will be taking him to the vet sonn but i wanted to know how long until it gets really serious?
thanks

well

Five weeks is not too long for a healthy, one year old cornsnake.

I am sure the vet visit won't hurt but you can wait a bit longer than that sometimes...unless you notice other health problems.

agree....
I mean one of my old corn snake got really really fat and for me to put her size down a bit I leave her off feed for around a month.... in another words...feeding once a month.....and she is still super fat.....I have been doing this for at least 4 months now....

so I am sure for a healthy corn snake 5 weeks isn't too bad...it will eat when it feels like it...
like the breeding seasons too....males go off feed for around 3 -4 months......

nothing much to worry about.....even for yearlings..
