How often do you feed? Even after gaining the 6 grams it is okay to stay with the current feeding plan for a while until you are out of pinks and move up a size.
Here is the Munson plan which I think many corn owners use and it has been stated that some owners feel it may be a little aggressive even, and you can wait an extra 5g to move up to the next size. http://www.medusa-corns.webs.com/feedingchart.htm

How many pinkies do you have left? From what I remember they retain about 30% of what they eat, so 2 5g pinkies he should gain about 4g. BUT, each snake is different, and grow at different rates.
When they are little and you only have one, don't "stock up" on anything, buy what you need to get through the next month. Only once they are fully grown can you stock up safely!
