i have managed to get a 4ftX1ftX1ft for my corn but was wondering how long this would last him as i understand they should be deeper and taller but not as wide?
thanks!!
Seem big enough in length, how old is your snake? just asking because personally i would'nt put a baby in a viv that large. hight wise could be more but 1ft is o.k.
is just coming up to 5 months so hes not going in there yet just managed to get one cheap from someone who no longer keeps corns and it gives me time to get it right lol!
More than the recommended for an average sized adult corn.
I think most people aim to provide an enclosure at least two thirds (2/3) the length of the snake
Minimum recommended tank for adult corns is a 20 Long, which is 30x12x12, so you have an extra 18 inches of length on that. That size viv is fine for the life of the corn snake, once he's big enough to move in to it.
