how long

It can vary depending on the feeding schedule, and their shedding periods..all corns grow at different rates..some quicker then others..:shrugs:

If you keep your corn on a good feeding plan..say one mouse of the proper size every 5 to 6 days it will have a difference in growing pattern then say a corn in the wild or owned by someone who feeds their snakes say once every 8 to 10 days..feeding does play a part in the process of growth but it isn't a steriod or anything..the growth will still take time..:0)

it depends is your snake a male or a female?
from what Ive seen males have been known to most of the time grow at a higher rate then most females... although their is the occational acception.

i would probably judge then not by the length of the snake but its body mass, the snake should still be quite small but could be pretty long i would say the fatest a 4 month old that ive seen would be about like the tip of my finger and i have tiny fingers... you could also tell by if the snake looks like it could be eating a hopper or a pinky or a fuzzy, a 4 month old should *i could be wrong* but only be able to safely eat a pinky.

you saw the cali king on the general chit chat right? that's the one i think i'm going to buy, its gorgeous!

thats cool their also a verry well known to be tame breed :) keep me posted how it goes Im curious also invest in cage locks if you use a tank, my friend had a king snake that could sneak out of almost anything in a matter of seconds

you know I bought velcro so I could lock up good... I'm going to try it to see if it works... I hope so hehe
