What vile necromancer hath resurrected this four and a half year thread?! :grin01:

As if there haven't been enough cohabitation threads in any given month.

(Welcome Ziggy4u)
Haze 'em, and then welcome 'em. Reminds me of a fraternity. :crazy02:

jazz

I think Kathy Love's nice and long opinion on cohabitation should be made a separate sticky at the top of this forum.. ? It fits well in the FAQ of course but, it would stand out more.. I don't know, just my two cents.. (I know what you're all thinking; 'He's english why would he say cents?!?' - 'My two pence' sounds too dumb :grin01:)

Marty, don't you know the old saying, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink" Just because we post a sticky, doesn't mean people will read them. Just ask poor Joe, who went to all that trouble to make up the his FAQ and post them as stickies in the appropriate forum. Then all the newbies ask the same questions that are in the FAQs over and over and over again. I think the FAQs and Kathy's opinion on cohab. should be REQUIRED reading before even becoming a member. There was an English guy on here once who did actually say "my two pence". He's not here anymore though :shrugs: . We got into a huge discussion about consumer products and kept going back and forth about who had heard of what US vs UK product. He talked about Lion chew bars and Fairy Up soap, and I talked about Gatorade and whatever other thing. It was fun...

Sorry Bobo Mom, you lost me on the last part. But that not hard for me to be lost.
Anyway. I agree with you, 100 percent about the required reading but it should be after they become member but before they can post their first thread. Trap them in to reading the sticky. I do what I can with the FAQ but I know they sometimes don't "drink" :shrugs:
