I fed my baby for the first time this morning; he gobbled the pinky down with no problems. But I'm worried about how he's going to digest it, because he won't go anywhere near his warm hide.
Since I've had him (5 days), he's spent 100% of his time in the cool hide. I measured the temp of the substrate under the cool hide, and it's only 75 degrees F. He won't be able to digest at that temperature, will he? I could take away the cool hide and make him stay in the warm one, but I don't want to stress him out... What's more likely to make him regurgitate, stress or no belly heat?
(By the way, the temp of the substrate under the warm hide is 84 F.)
