How much can I feed my corn so he will grow the fastest and get the biggest he can but still be healthy. I'm now feeding one pinkie every five days and he is growing nicely,just wondering if I could feed him more. he is about 15inches. Thanks
 
try offering 1 pinki every 4 days but make sure before you feed that the snake has been to the loo first.
you can encorage her to go to the toilet buy giving a bath this also saves money on substrate and it is good for the snake

or you can offer 2 pinkies (smallish ones) every seven days thats probably it for now.

remember feeding to increase size quickly shortens the life span of your snake!!:(

If you speed feed the snake then it's not going to be at its peak of health. I would advise you to keep feeding your snake once a week until it has gotten a bit bigger and then you can offer two items a week or one every four days. Remember that some snakes will not accept multiple items at one sitting and that speed feeding can shorten an animal's life.
 
I'm feeding mine 1 pinkes twice a week ...

Although I haven't tried it I'm pretty sure he'd eat twice that if given the chance. As soon as he sees the food it's gone!

Are all corn snakes that greedy ?
 
Nah, not all corns are greedy but many are, including Arty:D. The reason I said once a week is that I fed Arty twice a week when she was little but I knew she could have done just as well on one item. I fed one pinkie on Wednesday and one on Saturday and that worked fine so, Paco, if you want to try that then go ahead.

As said, power feeding is not very good for your snake.
If you are going to feed 2 pinkies I would feed them at the same time.
IMHO, I dont think that it is good for the snake to always be digesting food. If you feed every 3 days and it takes 48 hours(2 days) to digest its food then it is always digesting. When will you have time to handle it?
You should always make sure that it has had a poo before you feed it again.

My corn is about 18 inches and I feed her 2 pinkies every 4 days. can someone tell me if this is bad, I was told that it was fine.

No one could say how much it will actually shorten the life span.

Its different for each snake. Generally when they are under a year its hard to "speed feed" as they are growing so fast they hardly have any chance to get fat. Twice a week is fine for babies.

But as they get older, feeding to much can lead to them being fat which is NOT good. :)
