Bob is about 12 weeks old and currently eating 1 small pinkie every 5 days, how do you know (or at what age etc) do we move up to two?

Dippy question I know, but we all had to start somewhere!
 
Depend on the size of the snake. 1 pinkie seems a bit slim though. I would just try and see what he wants. And notice how his behavious is afterwards. Does he go to sleep imidiately or does he still display hunting behaviour? How long does it take him to digest? How long untill you find pooh? How often does he shed? It's pretty much up to the snake and how much he wants. If he wants lot's of pinkies move up to peach fuzzies, depending on how thick the snake is.
 
The general rule of the thumb is to feed a prey item that is 1.5 times the size of your snakes midsection...If you feed him and pinky and there is no bulge, I would move up to two pinks per feeding...How often after eating is your snake pooping???If he is going within 2 days, I would suggest you move up to 2 pinks...If you follow this guideline as your snake grows, so will the prey items..

He's pooping within two days. At the last feed (saturday) we gave him two pinkies and he ate them right up. I read on the forums about the ratio of food to snake width, but was just thinking he still looked hungry!

Weird also how we got him a few weeks ago and he seemed tiny - and today we have been talking about him seeming too big for his tank now lol.
