trouser snake
i just got my corn snake for chritmas. it looks like a candy cane. it is about 16 in long how old do you think it is? also how/ what size mice should it eat?

sound's about 4-5 monthes old depending on how it's been eating, and at that size i would say 1 fuzzie every 5 days

Food Size

Keep in mind a general rule of thumb when buying mice for your snake -- the mice (pinkies, fuzzies, etc.) should be no bigger than 1 to 1.5 times the diameter of your snake at its widest point.

Also, as a general rule the more mature the mouse, the more nutritious that it is. (e.g., a fuzzy is more nutritious than a pinkie, a hopper is more nutritious than a fuzzy, etc.). So I would opt for a small fuzzie over a large pinkie.

Happy Holidays!
