How soon to offer food

Hello all! I am a new member of the forum. We acquired new little baby cornsnakes on Halloween and we are wondering how long to wait to offer them food. According to the breeder, they are all eating a fuzzy once a week. We took them out one time to weigh them and have only bothered them to change their water since last Tuesday. When should we begin offering them food?

It's sooooo hard not to touch them! Baby cornsnakes are about the cutest things ever!!!

General guidelines is to give them 4 or 5 days to settle in without interuptions. This allows them to relax with their new home. After that, you could start handling some and feeding every 5-7 days. It sounds like you are ready to feed any time now. Make sure you do not handle for at least 48 hours after feedings.

Best wishes with your new baby!

and also good luck :)

Thank you!

Yes, we know not to handle them for a few days after they eat and during shed, etc. through our experience with our ball python.

These are just the first teeeeeeny little ones we have had!
