How to make a viv...?

You're right, I want more
I apologize ahead of time if this is in the wrong area. It was a close call between this and the general chit-chat, but it seems more people look at this :)

So anyway, I'm wondering how to build my own tank. Obviously I need glass. And caulk. But where do I get that kind of stuff? Aquarium supply places? The hardware store? And how much will a project like this run me? If nothing else, I'm just interested in a piece of glass and some caulk to make a [partial] second story for my current 20L viv. Maybe give the little guy that more much space to roam. Any info would be appreciated. I'm just in the curiosity phase right now and doing some research. Thanks, folks! :sidestep:

More ground space would be better than making a 2nd story in my opinion.

If you are going to build something you might as well make a longer viv with more ground space and perhaps could dissasemble the current viv and use the glass.

Take a peek at this site on plans to build your own vivs.
