How to tell if your corn is sick?

Well I have a roughly 4 month old snow.

Its kinda small and doesnt seem to be growing much. But it is a good eater. Never refuses a meal or regurded once. My Ghost is a couple months older and is much thicker and a bit longer.

That doesnt concern me as much as its behavior this last week.
Normally in the late after noon to the early morning it is very active, always cruising around its viv, climbing on everything and getting up on the lid (just like the thread recently posted) but this past week it hasnt been active at all. Just staying in the warm side of his viv. Not even hiding, just laying in the corner. Sometimes he cruises over to his cool hide (he actually goes into that one.)

What are some things to look for to see if he's sick? I havent seen any odd colored poops, but they are hard to spot with this guy as he's small. No regurged meals. And I dont think he's in blue. His eyes arent milky but its possible I missed it. His last shed was about a month ago so that could be a possibility.

I did recently start feeding him two pinks as one was a bit small for him and he isnt quite big enough for a fuzzy yet. (I cant find bigger pinks or I would just get him one big pink.) This was his second feeding of two pinks.

He's not sick. Corns hide....a lot. He may have spent the first while cruising around getting familiar with his home, and now is comfortable enough to relax :)
Mine are active at night, and hide all day. And I mean allllll day. As long as he's eating, drinking (you may not ever see that) and pooping your fine. Finding a regurge is more of a concern.

Double check your temps. Your warm hide may be too warm, so he's thermo-regulating and the corner is more ideal.

My temps were fine. My little guy was just shedding.

Woke up Sunday to a full one piece shed.
On my way out this morning noticed him out cruising like his normal self

Good, I'm glad he is okay.

Shedding kind makes them feel like crap, I imagine it's not the most comfortable thing in the world. Mine burrow down deep in the bedding or tuck away in a hide for a few days whenever they go into a shed cycle.

Yeah! Lol. Catching a snow or blizzard mid-shed is a tough thing to do!

I can offer you a "cheat" that works for the light colored snakes.

If you think he/she might be in blue....just take a picture with flash of his/her eyes.

The camera doesn't lie. ;)

Thanks! I'll definitely try that next time.

Yeah my normally sweet boy gets hissy when he's getting ready to shed, he acts like his skin is too tight and itchy. As soon as he's done though, he's out and active, watching the room and sitting near the front of his cage. :)
