Hey everyone,
I've just discovered this great site.
I've also just started in the wonderful world of snakes.
My first buy (i got her more or less a year ago) was a Okeetee corn snake or at least i think it is, maibe you could give me a hand confirming it. (she has a checkered underbelly)

Here she is,

unfortunatly here in Portugal the exotic market is very undeveloped and most of the morphs are very hard if not impossible to find. Also the legislation concerning exotic snakes is very strick so no poisonous nor boidae of any kind (and there goes my chance to get rosy boas and rubber boas at least legally).

I also keep some other exotics. Right now i have axolotls, degus and gophers (Richardson's Ground Squirrel).
I also breed killifish and am hoping to breed my rope fish, but we'll have to see how it goes.

Right now i'm looking forward to also breed corn snakes (that is if i can find the right morphs) :)

Thanks for the great website,

Sam

Welcome! I think you are the first here from Portugal. We have members from a lot of countries. Your albino Lamp. getula californiae is really beautiful, and your corn is as well. Have fun here!

Welcome!!! I have heard so many great things about the beauty of Portugal!! It is a shame to hear about their restrictions on exotics though. Beautiful snakes you have there!! Once again, WELCOME!

Yeah, the restrictions sucks (for lack of a better word). But yeah i'm proud of my country, known mostly for its 3 f's (fado, futebol (soccer) and Fátima) but the beachs are great and its a lovely country.
Just out of curiosity what have you heard mostly?

Sam

I have heard about (and studied some) the beautiful architecture that is found there. The buildings, castles, sculptures, cathedrals, etc. Also, of course, the beaches/geography, sports, religions/spirituality, and it's ancient and extensive history.

Quite a beautiful snake you got there dawn. Hope mine turns out as nice :)
Nice Charmer, if there is anything i can help with just let me know, i'll be more then happy to.
