Humid Hide (did I do it right?)

My house is so dry its to the point of unsafe for even human conditions... (we're waiting on filters for our house humidifier... that's another frustrating story)
ANYWAY... its so damn dry in here is the point. Phinius is in shed, I have never had to use a humid hide and have read about them, but never saw one. Please review the photo's below and let me know if I have done this correctly. - Thank You.

Container with an entrance lined top to bottom with moist paper towels.

Deep from within Phinius's viv, the Humid Hide was placed on the warm side of his viv.

Thanks for your help...

That's more like a moist resort! It looks good and should be fine. I actually just cut a small butter bowl in half and made some notches for entrance, wet down a paper towel, stuff it in the bowl, turn it upside down and Viola! It worked perfect to help out a snake that previously had a major shed problem.
Good Luck :)

Heh

And sitting here browsing the forum, I watched as Phinius was moving around his cage rubbing his face on stuff (did the same on me while I was holding him) he wants to shed, but its so dang dry in here, well I stuck him in his tank and he was moving around and discovered his Moist Resort and he is now in here, relaxing, drinking a few martini's perhaps :) He was awfully "wrinkly" earlier today, I'm sure he'll be shedding tonight, I keep checking back, as I want to photo a shed :crazy02:

That looks great!! Mine are just an ice cream tub with a wet hand towel insde hehe.. Treasure hates when I take them away though, he seems to like being dripping wet LOL (he stays in the warm end one, on top of the towel, and the condensation drips on him, so hes literally dripping wet LOL)

cool moist resort! I use a to go soup mug. I place a wet paper towel and shavings in the mug, put the lid on and open the steam hole. My hatchling can go in and out without a problem and it stays very warm and humid in there. Works for me! and i have had perfect sheds since I started using it.
