Hey guys i was wondering how can i lower the humidity rate in my tank? Its set at about 65% and i think that might be too high. I dont spray it to make it more moist so i cant cut down on that. The water is on the cool side and it has full top venthilation. Thanks allot

You can use a smaller water bowl. You can also get a dehumidifier and put it in the room near the tank.
I actually remove the water bowl during the day and put it in at night. My snake NEVER comes out in the day anyway and it gets kinda hot upstairs during the daytime and all that water is just evaporating and making it really humid.

65 isn't too bad though. That's around how high I keep it when my snake's in shed.

Try putting a fan near the tank.
With higher air circulation, the humidity drops very fast...

hey,
What I do is turn on my cieling fan, that works well for me.Plus it keeps the room real ventilated.Thats what I do.
Good Luck!!

so just flip on the ceiling fan? I have one in my room but the tank is against a wall .... do you think it will still make a difference?

try it and see if the humidity drops down a bit..
if it doesn't just move it to a place where air ventilation is better..

Yea,my tank is against the wall too,i just flip on the fan.Dont leave it on all the time though,to much of circulation will make you lose heat.
