Humidity: too high or too low?

I would love Cathy Love's book, I'm asking for it for my birthday :p

Everything seems to be going well. The temps and humidity are at the right levels as of now. For future refference, what can I do if the humidity gets too high? (besides not spraying the tank)

One other thing... you said it was better to use an uth, which I now have. Something that just caught my curiosity though, the bulb I used to heat the tank was supposed to mimick real sunlight. Now that I'm not using it, will this lack of "sunlight" affect my girl at all? I just always thought sunlight was important for reptiles, you know, one of those things you learn on "The Magic School Bus" lol!

I don't know how to post pics on here, so I changed my avitar to one of my girl. Isn't she gorgeous?? My friends at the Lab and I named her Tequila Sunrise since shes the same colour as the drink... not that a 17 year old girl knows anything about drinking!! ;) Theres also one of me and her in my profile if you want to see another. If someone can explain (in simple terms :p) how to post pics up here, then I will put one up of the section that is having trouble shedding.

Don't have much time to respone now but the light is use for you to see and work with snake/Viv. No corn don't need sunlight for health reason. They are "nocturnal".
High humidity has been a problem.... depends on the type of tank ..Glass or wooden. Glass usually has a full screen top and high humidity not a problem.. So I don't have a answer for you to reduce it.

Post picture is a pain for me too. I would check out the "How do I" forum. I thought I saw something there.

Sounds like you on the right track now.

Good Luck
Lennycorn

I'm using a glass tank with full screen lid like you said, so I hope I wont have any humidity troubles. Not using a heat bulb is nice too, it was really heating up my room! lol

so i'm giving this picture attachment thing a try, we will see if it works! the last one i tried to get a good pic of the shed thats still having problems, maybe if you see it you will see something I havent.

have a good one!
