Yeah its an aspen substrate. I turned on my over head fan last night to try to get more air flow, but still the hydrometer is slowly moving upwards, now its just below 60. So how should I lower it?
Whats the air temp in the room? Lowering it may help. Also, you could drain a bit of water out of your snakes dish, and put a lil extra substrate under it.
Just a thought , pull your hydrometer out of the Viv and place it some where else in the room. And recheck the reading. Check to see if you spill water on it too.
And / or maybe it off/ broken.
oh ok that could be it, i bought one of the cheap plastic ones, your probably right, i think im just gonna have to wait till petsmart opens up to get a new one, because i refuse to go to petco, but thanks, your probably right.
