Hungry Beardie question!

Hi all, hope you can help me.

My female Beardie laid eggs 2 weeks ago ( all infertile ) but since then she has become extreamly hungry and is always seeking food! I put vegetables in the enclosure but she only nibbles at it and she is going through tub after tub of extra large locusts and is STILL hungry! What is a safe amount to feed her per day?

Thanks in advance.

I would feed her as much as she cares to eat. See if you can mix the insects in with chopped greens so she gets some of those when she eats the insects. Are you giving her adequate supplementation now?

It's likely she will lay _more_ eggs. If you want to stop this cycle, cut her photoperiod back a couple hours.

I've been dusting the locusts with Nutrobal twice weekly as recommended by my LPS! What would you recommend as a good suppliment?

Whats the "photoperiod"?

Photoperiod is how long you have her lights on daily.

I supplement with calcium every other day and vitamins about twice a week.

I don't know what brands you have in UK. Super Veggie Dust by Repashy is an excellent supplement, though! If you could get that, you can just use that daily.
