Hypo Bloodreds and Hets

These guys were from breeding a Hypo Bloodred male possibly het for anery to a Hypo het for Bloodred possible het anery female. No anerys popped out so far and it looks like only hypo bloodreds and hypos het for bloodred. The sad part was both parents were cooked to death in ARIZONA along with two ghost bloodreds because a new driver refused to deliver the package citing an incorrect address(at 0900hrs in the morning). After I proved to FED EX that the address was in fact correct and valid(at around 1100 am or noon at the latest) he was ordered by Fed EX to re-deliver the package he still refused to do so until 6:00pm after he actually contacted the customer and asked him to meet him at a local store because he "was running late" DO YOU BELIEVE THAT? Double ice packs, clearly marked labels, all of the steps I take didnt cut it in 110 degrees. That man is lucky I'm all the way up here in NY. Anyway, here are the babies.

forgot the damn photos I was so angry, LOL

here they are

oooh very nice Mike! Especially that one thats stretched out. That one will be a screamer I'm sure. I've always been partial to the hypo bloods :)

Beautiful babies! I'm so sorry about the loss of your snakes! Is there any legal action you can take?

those are some neat looking hatchlings. sounds like someone needs to punch that driver in the nose.

that's the bad thing about shipping w/ Fed Ex (or any of the door to door companies)...it is not their normal policy to ship live animals, and even if you are approved to ship w/ Fed Ex you have to sign a waiver which says amongst other things that they won't be held responsible. So even if it is their fault you are s.o.l.

Can the driver himself be charged with cruelty to animals? If he knew what was in the package and deliberately allowed the animals to suffer and die, isn't he criminally negligent?

Mike...

Beautiful babies, and sorry to hear FedEx screwed up so bad...sheesh !

yeah it stinks

I would have had a better shot at a full recovery if I declared the value on the box. Its true, when you become authorized you sign a waiver however this does not mean you should be liable due to a loss incurred by gross negligence of a driver in the company or any company for the matter. I sent the guys money back to him the next day and I had to eat the loss. FED EX refunded me $100(the limit for undeclared items) and the $53.00 for the shipping. Although I proved how much the snakes cost and were sold for, had I declared the value, I would have had a better shot. Now I know. I filed complaints on the driver, raised hell, received a few we're sorry calls and basically had smoke blown up my %$%$# The very next week I was sending a pretty expensive box down the florida. 9:00 the next morning the customer called me and said Fed ex says the box never left new york. I called up the drop off office and they said whoops, we put it on the ground delivery pile by mistake. Shall we ship it now? I had to rush all the way home from work(80 something miles), pick the snakes up(they were fine) and re-send them the following week. I made such a scene over there it wasnt even funny. I just shipped yesterday and it went smooth and on time. Now they will remember me. Thanks

It's been awful hot here in NM too . . . not 110 tho . . . I actually opted to drive an hour each way to pick up my babies rather than have them hauled out to my house. I figured an hour ride in my A/C with NO stops would be a lot healthier than in a hot truck. I am SOOOOO sorry that happened, it is really awful.

The babies are absolutely gorgeous!!!

it had nothing to do with the climate

I'd like to apologize about the climate in my state SUCKING lol
I was fully aware of the temps there. It was an idiot employee who basically botched every company policy on the books, according to Fed Ex. They were paging him all day long to get him to attempt to re-deliver the package. He simply refused to reply and call in.

nice babys

those are some sweet babys,I am sorry to here what happened with the ones you sent, send me a email of what you have and maybe i will get more thanks Stephen

I know the feeling Mike and I'm sorry. CornCrazy sent me a snake overnight Tues. Not until Wed. at 4:30 pm. did the website say "incorrect address". Which, in fact, it was NOT. The address was absolutely correct. There was no way to redeliver the same night so I drove 1 1/2 hrs in rush hour traffic to make sure the snake would be alive. It was ONLY 94 here that day, not 110, but still...........what a bunch of s$$t! Doesn't UPS ship overnight?

yes

Mike, Sorry to hear of your loss. Awesome looking hatchlings!! Will there be any available?
this is my last hurrah!!! Every baby I hatch out is going to be sold this season. Some of the clutches will be sold to Ken Siffert who picked up all of the ultras from me but I may still have stuff available.

Did I understand you correctly in chat that you hatched out some amel bloods this year?
