Nope, that looks like a little bit of dirt.

You have a lovely new snow, congratulations! (anery + amel = snow)

I think it's dirt. That slash mark next to my top-most finger is certainly something. Not a color of the snake, but either dirt or a mark that's been there. It was there when I bought the snake.

And also, here's some updated pics on my first snake. I've had him (just confirmed he's a male the other day) for a little over a month, and he's grown a bit.

I've been told he's a Hypo Normal.

I am not for certain but this is just a guess that the hypo normal might be het diffuse. He has the diffuse pattern on his head. Very nice looking little snake.

I tried real hard. Who would have thought that snakes don't like to show their belly while hanging upside down?

Definitely snow ... I only queried the belly as I thought the pattern looked a bit odd in the first couple of photos, but as it has belly checks it's normally patterned.
