Oh MY!!! I had my 2 corns out for a photo shoot to take comparison pics together..Well thats when the fun began..What I thought was 2 males or so I was told ..seems to have ended up 1 male and 1 female. I turned to get the camera and POOF!! all locked up..sheesh I dont want babies..I dont have the experience or the know how about this..how good are chances with 1 meeting Ill be looking for babies!! ..????:shrugs:

more info. please

One time could've been enough to do it. Some more information on the ages? lengths and the weights ( of the female especially) would be helpful. If she is undersize then her longterm health could be at risk.

Also, if she does produce eggs and you live reasonably close to me, I'm in Stark County, Ohio. I would be willing to take any fertile eggs.

shes a late '05 she weighs 685 g and is about 4-4.5 ft..thanks for the offer i would definately give eggs to a more experienced breeder..im in Cleveland

OK, Great she's definitely heavy enough and a good age. According to you he's an Hypo and she's an Anery, so the hatchlings, if any, would be normal 100% het for those. I am not an experienced breeder, this will be my first year and I have four females that I hope to breed ( one hookup so far...YES!). I have researched it as much as possible and I have everything ready, including an incubator and am going to be FedEx certified to ship reptiles within the week. So, You will need to research how to prepare for the lay...in about 4-6 weeks, if gravid (full of eggs) you will need to prepare a lay box etc...PM me and we can go over details, but it would be best for all concerned if you could educate yourself as much as possible first. Start by reading as many posts here about breeding as possible. Then if she does lay eggs, I''l incubate and hatch them and you can keep as many as you want and I'll sell the rest for you...Let me know OK, Kyle

PS, I just saw your age and I would have to speak with your parent/ guardian before we could go any further as far as taking the eggs for you.

I know noob??? But wouldn't it be hard and dangerous for the future of the babies in the eggs to transport? What about using the cupboard over the fridge incubation then transport??

oh im sorry ..i opened this up for my son. Forgot about the age post and just started typing..im his mom I havent told him about nthis yet i figured i would wait til all is for sure but geez the whole thought of incubation..lay tubs im not sure im ready for this..i will try to read and understand what i can but having help would be cool too thanks..ummm i would be willing to do what i have to then transport them if thats an option as long i wouldnt harm them. i will keep you posted and let you know how things are in about 4-6weeks
thanks again

Oh here are some pictures in case you were wondering what they look like.

Its strange how things happen sometimes...we have some breeders on here who have been trying to hook up their snakes for a few weeks now...you put yours together once and you get a hookup right away..I'm sorry for seeing a bit of humor in this..lol...Wish u much luck :0)

:)all I wanted to do was take pictures and honestly i didnt even know it was going on they just sorta moved around lookin like they were investigating each other no big eventful encounter. before i knew it i saw more action at the tails and they were perfectly still..I lost the female for 2 weeks in my floor a while back so i was watching heads not tails of course figuring they were both male i had no reason to look elsewhere..anyway im not going to put them together again ill know in a few more weeks i suppose if she will lay eggs..
