Whew Im 21 year old guy who lives in the city of Chicago!! I grew up in the suburbs my whole life keeping frogs that i caught in lakes or what not, and my mom never would let me get a snake, and as long as i had frogs, i never pushed the idea to much!!! But I've been living in my own condo now for almost two years that i pay the mortgage to and what not, so i decided hey time for a snake... I have 1 pacman frog 3 Blue poisonous dart frogs, and a beardie!! So why not?!?! :D

I went to a reptile show near chicago on saturday just to get crickets for my beardie and my pacman, low and behold im holding a 6mo old baby snow corn snake and next thing i know im buying her and 50 fuzzies!!! My girlfriend is gonna be so mad!! LOL anywyas here are some pics and he ate his first fuzzy tonight!!

thanks!! yeah she will come around, like she has with everything else! As soon as she finds out it wont eat her!! Yeahhhh snakes are so much more exciting than frogs, even though frogs have been my thing for my whole life!! The breeding possibilities with corns. and just the capability of being social and holding them!! Mannnnn i gotta start researching!!
 
Welcome! The dart frog looks so cool! I have corns and cats, lol! i also spin my own yarn and now I want to try to make that color in a dye batch so I can call the yarn Poison Dart Frog, lol!
 
Haha thats awesome!! I love the dart frogs so fun to watch, and they are very active during the day which is awesome makes a good living room decoration!! Also i just POPPED my corn for the first time after watching kath loves video on her site, and its a male, the two "things" came out so its a male, and I couldve sworn the guy i bought it off of said it was a female!! Soooo yeahhhhh oh well now just gotta think of a guy name!!
 
Cute! I love the frogs and understand having them around. I was the same way as a kid. Welcome to the addiction, I also just got my first one today and I still cant help but look at others.
 
Welcome to the forum bdisilvestro...I am very happy that you already know the importance of pics here *grins*. I think your animals are all gorgeous, although I am partial to your snow for obvious reasons<<<<points to avatar.
 
Welcome to the forum :D happy to have you. Know what you mean about the mom thing, I have 7 snakes now that I am out of her house lol. I have a snow as well, I purchased her and our anery from a breeder near me for $25. But that was a really special deal.

Average for a Snow from a breeder is around $20 usually cause they are fairly common. I had seen them in pet stores and always thought they were the 'coolest' looking ones. Little did I know how many other color morphs there were. But I still love my Snowflake.
 
yeah i bought my little guy for 20$ from a breeder, 6months old!! Normals were 15$ and those were the 2 morphs he had!! I'm Obsessed with the MIAMIs they look so awesome i have to learn about breeding and what would come of a snow and a miami but thats down the road :D Thanks everyone for the welcomes!!
 
I think I may have to find someone on here to get one from. I checked the local shops here and all of the snows were like $49-$59. I thought that price was kinda high.
