I have way too many fuzzy mice!

BloodyCats

I like cats.
Hey guys. I live in the Minneapolis area, and have 50 or so frozen small/fuzzy mice I will never use. I used to have a lot more corns, but have moved into pythons and now even my babies are eating rats. Theyse mice are free to the first person who wants to come and get them. They are about 9 months old, but they appear to still be good.

I hope I'ts alright to post this here. I know this forum is filled with some nice people and I'd much, much rather give them away here than on KS.

I only have one corn now, and I have been feeding him rat pups. He seems to go crazy for them, much more than mice. Anyone else feed their corns rats? If so, what is the largest rat you've had a corn devour?

I suppose if I could round up some dry ice. Can you wait a week? I am getting a rodentpro order and could use their packaging to send it to you.

Just for future reference, there is a Feeders section down under the General Chit Chat section.

I'd love some, Wisconsin 53168. I just put the zip cause htey did too, but yea I feed my two corns fuzzys, and I could and would greatly appreciate soem, I too will pay for shipping, even some for the mice themselves. If you could, like if you do end up sending some, since there are a few people who want them, can you send like 10 to each person? even that would be really nice, and we could all get use out of them. Anyway, I'd pay 50 cents a mouse, not much, but better than free, unless you ask for more, then whatever, but this would be sweet.

Guys, 10 mice per person wouldn't be economical at all.

Do you know how much dry ice costs, and how heavy it is? That's an expensive shipping job---one that would make shipping the mice too expensive. You'd probably end up paying $5 a mouse!

Sorry, guys

I'm gonna have to go with the first response. I'm getting a rodentpro order next week, then I will contact you guys in order of posting, giving a day to respond. The person I come in contact with first will get the mice.

Also, they are fuzzy/smalls. Maybe a litle bigger than fuzzies. Probably what I would feed a 6 month old corn. I don't remember clearly, seeing as I bought them for my hatchling JCP who ate rats instead, and not a baby corn. Anyway, I'll get back to you guys a couple days before I get the Rodentpro order.

Thanks, Taceas for letting me know about the feeders forum. it's been too long since I visited this great site! ;)

i just got in a rodentpro order and will start Pyretto on rat pups this weekend.

did you notice any significant growth once you started your corn on rats?

I started my corn on rats when he was approximately 3 years old, and so I have not noticed any growth, as he was an adult already. He does love the rats, however. He seems to eat much more consistantly once a week now than he did on mice. Also, for me it is very handy to have him on rats because most of my snakes are larger and eat rats. Only one of my babies eats mice, and insists on live much of the time, making any bulk frozen mouse order a waste.
