Please only post comments on snakes hearing and understanding what is said to them. We are ignoring the fact that snakes do not have ears, they don't understand our language and coincidence along with survival tactics.

Monday, Kevin (my husband) wanted to play with Hayyah, our 6 month old male Snow Corn. Hayyah was reallying enjoying his aspen so Kevin had to explore to find him. Once Kevin got him, Hayyah was in a foul mood, being disturbed from making tunnels in the aspen, and started biting Kevin. Kevin gently took Hayyah by the head (no hand on the tail section), sat down and said, "You are not supposed to bite me. You can poop on me but not bite me." No sooner than Kevin got done speaking Hayyah did just that, pooped all over Kevin's chest and belly (he wasn't wearing a shirt). It looked like Zorro and his "Z".

:laugh01: :laugh01: :laugh01: :laugh01: :laugh01: :laugh01:

I laughed so hard I had to change my undies.

Surely the corn pooped out of fear, from being picked up solely by the head??

Or am i missing something?

I always knock on their vivs and ask them to come out. Choco and Maizey are the only ones who have figured it out, though.

Gailleann always pops her head out of her hammock when she "hears" me come into the living room, although last night, it was more like did you have to turn on that light???

I know Hayyah pooped out of fear but the point is that he pooped on Kevin when Kevin said it was okay to poop on him but not bite him.

See, Hayyah heard it was okay to poop on him so he pooped.

Those are the things I want - snakes doing what they are told to do -

haha nanci thats so cool. I love that idea.
I would have never thought that they would actually come out instead of just waking up. Though obviously the curious snakes would come out to investigate haha
