Found this little guy outside of the building where I work. Eastern Garter?

He's pretty docile...froze when he saw me and I picked him up. Didn't even attempt to bite, musked like all hell though! :puke01:

I caught this snapping turtle at my (old) work this summer.

Same size as my hand, indeed pretty.

I'm probably going to keep the garter, at least for a while. I happen to have an unoccupied viv at the moment and several hundred frozen pinks and fuzzies, so what the heck!

I too have "Herped At Work". Rescued this guy from being squorshed. He was hiding under a tire of a car in the parking lot at work. Relocated to a safer location.

Set the garter up in his new home...he seemed to like it. Came out and explored for a while, so I gave him a big fat earthworm. He gobbled it right down. Guess he's going to make a good pet after all!

He is, however, not allowed in the snake room. He is set up in a "display" type cage in the loving room.
