I just got my first corn

I am so excited. I just got my first corn snake after doing months of research. She is an albino- she is pink and a joy to watch. I named her Sophia. My hubby had said no b/c he doesn't like snakes. But I think that he is warming up to her a little. I am enjoying reading all of the post and look forward to learning from all of you guys.

Welcome and congrats on Sophia! This is definitely the place to be and learn about these wonderful little creatures. Make sure to post pics of her and the next one too ;).

Welcome, and You've come to the right place. Turns out that many of the Authors that have written some of the well known books on corns post right here in these forums! I've only been here for a month or so, and have learned a ton, and everyone has been really helpful with all my questions, so....ask away if you got em!

Thanks a bunches guys

You guys make me feel welcome. Do corns need play mates? I mean would Sophia enjoy another corn to keep her company?

Conrats on your new baby, and welcome to the board. To answer your question, no corns do not need a playmate. They are solitary animals and have no need for company. I'm looking forward to seeing pics of Sophia.

Just so you get started off on the right foot, use the search function :). First and foremost do a search on cohabitation. you will find the answer to your question and much much more.

I'm glad that corns don't need companionship

I did a search on cohab and glad to hear that corns don't need playmates. I will proabably get another lil corn one day. But I will have them each their own space. thanks again all
