I know another question about size

Bruce is 10 months old now. He is about 34 inches long and 228 grams. I know snakes will always keep growing. Should I assume he would keep up this high rate of growth for the next year or so? Right he sheds about every 3.5 to 4.5 weeks. The reason I ask is because I'm looking to give him his forever home. I do not want to really deal with more upgrades in size to things like his hides water bowl his cage etc.

Now I am not 100% sure (more like 40%) but I think what I have heard is that once they reach about 300 grams usually their growth slows down. Of course when your snake stops growing is anyones guess could be 3ft or it could be 6ft there is no way to tell. Hope that helped. ;)

10 months old and 228 grams? Wow! You must have him on the super Roy Munson plan.

I fed him ever 5 days for the 1st 4 months then every 6 since. Once he hits a year I will bump it up a day or so. He has never turned down a meal. Never a regurge anything.

what size is his cage? a 20 gallon is an acceptable size for corn snakes of all sizes. If your worried he'll grow to be a giant monster maybe at 30 gallon tank.

He is in a 20gal long right now. Problem im having is he is pretty active and he knockes and moves everything around.

haha, time to resurrect this thread. This sounds a lot like my snake. He was born in july '07. He was about a foot when I got him in September and he is now 3 feet long. I don't have a scale so i mostly just wing it. But he gets a mouse every 5-6 days since I've had him, and the mouse is usually just barely wider than the widest part of his body. I don't think I overfeed, he has a "healthy" looking girth and is pretty active at night. I have the impression that he might develop into a 5-6 footer.
