Thank you both! I wish I could handle her already... but for now Ill have to settle for watching her explore her new home

Very beautiful ball python! I love her pattern...this is gonna be a weird name suggestion but how about Dorothy? (It's the first thing I thought of when I looked at her cause the line on her back looks like the yellow brick road..lol...Well just a thought..

Thank you everyone for your wonderful compliments and the name suggestions!

Maize- Dorothy is a cute idea! I didnt even think about that one.

Kimbyra- Cleopatra's also a great idea... i like the 'exotic-ness'

Im adding both to the list of possible names

Nice BP, Shroomie! :) I really love BPs, I swear I do... they're just so weird when it comes to food. Mine will only eat live mice, and they must be in her viv. If I move her or try to feed her frozen/thawed, she turns her nose up and slithers away.

I have a friend who has a two year old ball python that will also only eat live food, and the food must be dropped into her viv. What's confusing is that both of our snakes are captive bred and were previously feeding on frozen thawed, but suddenly decided they no longer wanted dead food.. They want it raw and wriggling, precious. :)

My BP has never really been a problem feeder... He sometimes switches from f/t to live but that's nothing.

Your's is adorable! Reminds me so much of when Spike was young. Good luck!
