I met Mike (snakewispera snr) at Kempton Reptile Expo!!!

Yesterday we went to the Kempton Reptile Expo, at Kempton Park Racecourse in the UK. It took us nearly two hours to get there due to road works and diversions on the route and it took us another two hours to get to the front of the queue once we got there! There were just so many people attending the organisers were caught off guard, but as this was the first BIG show in the south of England we'll forgive them I think ;) It was a good show and we would definitely do it again and maybe even have a table ourselves next time!

Anyway, when we did get in there was a huge crowd in the hall and it was pretty difficult to move around and see the tables properly, but I did manage to spot Mike (snakewispera snr) and Joel (snakewispera) at their stall. It took me a while to get close enough but then I reached over the table and shook Mikes hand with a huge smile on my face, it took him all of about 5 seconds to realise who I was and he immediately came out from behind the stands to give me a hug, this made my day!!! He is such a nice person and so is Joel who I had the pleasure of having a little chat with too!

Mike said "Well you are not at all what I expected!" and I'm still not sure if that meant he was pleasantly surprised or unpleasantly surprised :shrugs: He did spend some time talking to me and we even chatted again a little later in the day, so I don't think it was all bad ;)

So here's the requisite piccy of Mike and I which Joel took for me and then a couple of how crowded to hall was and what was left on their table by the time we got there, not a lot!!! Joel took these for me as it was nigh on impossible for me to do it from my side of the tables and I'm a shorty anyway!

Mike it was great to meet you and Joel too, tell Joel thank you for taking the pics, I really appreciate it!

We did have fun, it was a good day out and I think Mike looks better clean shaven ;)

Yes I was about to laugh, I was so excited to meet Mike, and Joel was goofing around behind the camera!

How exciting! I keep meaning to tell Mike that I learned one of my most important breeding
lessons this year from him- stop worrying about that the humidity in the incubator is!
Thanks Mike, now I understand!! Good thing at the time I was in a panic I took your word for it!!

Thanks for all the nice things you said Susie, I'm blushing.
And don't worry, I meant all the things I said in a good way.
And it was nice to meet your hubby as well.
And that wasn't my wife, that was Bernie, she came with us as she is Toms wife.
When I set up my tables in the morning, I had two full tables. At the end of the show I had two JCP left to take home, I just wish I had taken more.
I think everyone had a great time and there was some excellent animals for sale
Well it was the first big show in the UK and I think it took everybody off guard.
