Hi all at the forum . . . I wish to buy a digital camera soon, but as i am only young and can't afford anything BIG and spectacular, i have a budget . . . I will probably buy my camera from ebay.co.uk, so i can get a somewhat decent camera that takes good quality pics, that doesnt cost TOO much!!

I was wondering, what sort of digital camera should i be buying, that isnt too much money ? ? ? If it isnt too much to buy in the shops then it will be realitivly chep on ebay (hopefully!)

Well, if you want a balance of CHEAP and nice, I have an Olympus D-490 zoom. It is a year-old model, so whatever D-xxx they are selling now should be even nicer. Mine takes good pics, like this close-up of my little snake's scales-- he is about 1/2 inch thick, and of course, his scales are very tiny. It has a few features, like quicktime, macro mode, etc. I am happy with it and would recommend Olympus digital cameras, as I've also used some higher-end ones my school owned.

I dont know if you've already purchased your digital or not I just wanted to tell you I have a Kodak DC3400 and its wonderful and not too expensive. I love the quality of photos it takes!
