hi all i have 2 baby corns atm and one off them had a very bad shed when i first got her me being an ass didant get all the skin off and a bit was left on at the tip off the tail now the skin has constikted the tail and the tip is about to fall off but the skin has stopet the skin from comeing off from ferther sheds and now it is starting to constrikrkt the tail ferther up i am worred all off the tail will fall off i have socket her about 3-4 times and added sum easy shed solushion and it doesent seem to help please help me out!

If the tail tip is already black I am afraid that there is nothing you can do. I recently rescued a corn that had a black tail tip. It will eventually fall off.

As far as it constricting farther up the tail, I would recommend that you soak the tip of the tail and run it through a wash cloth or paper towel to get the skin off. After doing this, the skin should come off. Eventually the dead tail section will fall off.

You don't need to pull it off hard, let the snake crawl through the moist towels for a while and it should loosen enough to be easily removed.
I experimented with that shed aid stuff as well, it was a waste of money. I am seriously considering switching everything I have to racks when I can, the only snakes of mine that have the bad sheds are the ones I keep in glass tanks. The plastic tubs may not be as pretty but they sure do hold the moisture better!

thanks for your answers, well thay are in a smale plastick tank atm with sum repti bark in and i seems to help with the sheding but if its still bad by monday i will take it into my local rep shop who i bought it off see if thay can help her
