That looks like a mouse turd, not a rat dropping. The pinks are small, but they look good. If the pinks are smaller than usual, feed him two if you think he can handle it.
 
I hope you're not worried about the dropping. Their intestines are full of the stuff. When you get the frozen adult mice, sometimes they still have poo hanging out of their hineys (guess some get euthanized mid-dump). :grin01:

Those pinkies look fine. I usually have to double up on pinkies that small. I buy from Big Cheese and their "small pinkies" are only 1-2g each.
 
When you die everything lossens up and often dead things will poo and pee after they are dead. It's not uncommon at all. (I work at a vet office)
