I said I would post this for Susan when I was done (Well I'm almost done) because I used her zig zag snow as a reference. This is actually much cooler in person. You can't see any of the scale detailing & the whole snake is very iridescent so it shimmers.

Wow. :eek1: I'm impressed. I haven't tried painting any snakes yet. That's excellent. Acrylics? What's your canvas size or is it on a board?

Its a 15x30 on canvas pannel. I don't usually like stretched canvas because it doesn't stay as tight. Plus these store flatter :D Yes it's acrylics for the most part. I wish I could have shown it better with the scales. You can't even see them :(

That is AWSOME!!!! It kinda has a boa face! WOW that is awsome..i wish i was that talented! lol

Thanks guys. Yeah the brow on the head kinda threw me for some reason. Just means that I will be doing some more face studies. I'm actually not that great with acrylics. I am a drawer by nature & it's hard for me to go to such a broader medium.

lol your a dork! But thank you. I see some things I'm going to be changing this week. I had a lot of fun with the iridescent white though lol.

WOW! Very impressive! I'm glad my snow zigzag normally isn't as nasty as she was when she "modeled" for this rendering. It reminds me of the Serpent in the Garden of Eden.

:) I'm fixing the head this weekend. I'm not impressed with it lol.

Thank you for having such a wonderful snake :D
