i was was holdin our baby rats today and noticed somthing on them we think they might have lice dose rat lice look the same as the lice u would find on humans and wat products can i use too treat them and can my snake get it from them we think it came from a feeder rat from the pet store
 
Rats can get lice. Lice are species specific so you do not have to worry about your snakes getting them. You can treat the rats with cat revolution, but I do not remember the correct dose. I will try to get the dose from work. I will also try to find out when it would be safe to use those rats as a food source after applying revolution.
