Thanks! Herpin' in New England is not always a productive affair. But you'd need to have those karate kids guard Onyx, because I was looking at pics of him the other day, and I want him. :grin01: I love his white face and dot-head.BeckyG said:Oh, and you're welcome in Mississippi anytime. There's lots of places to go herp hunting around here. Just look what I found DOR just down the road from my house.
That is sad. Looks kinda like a Florida too-- maybe a Speckled x Florida intergrade. The snake WAS a beauty. I can't imagine swerving intentionally to hit any animal. I hate it on those spring evenings when there are a million froglets bouncing all over the roadway, and you have no choice but to drive through.BeckyG said:A almost cried when I saw this big, beautiful king snake. I believe it is a speckled king. His underside was bright yellow. He was, I'm guessing, 3 1/2 to 4 feet long and bigger around than a quarter. He was bigger than my Cal King, and he is 3 feet long.
If only I could catch the @$$hole who went out of his way to murder this beauty... :flames: :twoguns: :twoguns: :flames:

Not all of mine have been nice. I have these dreams where I leave my corns in someone else's care, and I come back and they're cut in half, but still alive! Or sometimes their scales have rotted away, and they're all patchy and disgusting. I had one of the "bad scales" dreams about my blizzard female a few weeks ago. I woke up afterward, at about 04:00 in the morning, and I got her out and held her perfect self for about fifteen minutes to get over it.E. g. guttata said:At least that one was a nice corn dream...
