I have a hatchling corn snake and it wont eat anything but live it wont eat the dead or the reptile cented what do i do when it gets bigger i heard it is REALLY bad to feed live adult mice to a snake or they might make the snake the meal


is there any idias ANY would be appreacied

Are you sqeemish,if not you shouldtry getting a live pinkie "dropping" it quite hard and feeding straight away, that way you can fool the snake into thinking its eating live food, it worked for me, good luck.........................

I just had great luck with saving some used mouse bedding from the live mice (yuck!), and letting the frozen mouse thaw out in a bag with the bedding. It picks up that "live rodent smell" I guess and an animal that would only eat live snapped it up just fine.

Hello!

I have one snake that will only eat freshly killed rodents. She won't eat F/T or live ones. I have to kill the mouse just before feeding her. I really hate doing this...I am simply doing what I have to do, though. Anyway, I haven't tried the mouse bedding. I think I will try that today. I'll let you know if it works for me.
