in blue and feeding question

Hey all
If my snake is in blue when the regular feeding day comes around, is it better to offer the food and let the snake choose to refuse it or just skip the feeding all together?
Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Most folks skip the feed, me I see if the snake will refuse. If they don't you need to be extra careful about not disturbing them while digesting. Since they are already under stress from shedding they can be more likely to regurge during this time. Which is why most skip the feed if they know for sure the snake is in blue. None of my snakes have regurged from being in blue but if I know they are in the middle of shedding I don't handle that week. Just in case.

I have never had a problem with feeding mine when in blue. My male Caedan will even eat and then shed the next day. You can try feeding and if it refuses then you know not to feed when in blue.

I offer the food and if it's refused, I make sure I have another due to eat around the same time, to "mop up" the spare mouse. Most of mine will eat when blue, but a couple will refuse occasionally. I've not had a regurge due to feeding when blue.

I've never had a snake refuse a meal when they were in blue. Haven't had a regurge either.
It it totally up to you. Skipping a meal won't harm your snake.

My lil amel will eat no matter what. The one time she was really really in blue and couldnt see at all, but she still smelled around for the food which I held infront of her then took it and chowed down anyways. And she even shed the next morning.
It really depends on the snake. Some will refuse to eat and some will eat no matter what. I know ball pythons are different than corn snakes but ours actually ate, the shed as soon as she was done eating.
