In the news today, more weird stuff.

Wade, are you trying to say I'm 'weird'? Because if you are, I welcome the compliment. I think I sit in good company.
And better here, than a clandestine social group, exclusively for the purpose of talking about all of us 'weirdos'.

Oh no Eric, you're not weird. I mean you are main stream my friend. Middle of the road, salt of the earth. And I am Eleanor Roosevelt.

But seriously, you know, last night on cable I watched the in depth look at the original post....the chronology, and present state of affairs.
The young woman (kidnapped) is having a difficult time readjusting. She (by default, by necessity, whatever) developed an emotional bond with her kidnapper/rapist/religous lunatic (a convicted sex-offender on parole for life). She is having guilt and anxiety for his present plight.

I have said it before and I will say it again....people who mess with children and the elderly piss me off and get no sympathy nor mercy from me.
Children and the elderly should be cherished and protected. I know I sound corny and sappy, but that is just how I feel about it.

Can you say Eric?
I wouldn't say weird; I'd say...Normally challenged!.

'Clandestine Social Group'; Sounds emotional.....If it's any consolation though, being normal in today's society isn't so special and I'll be weird for names sake if it brings me clarity. Besides I think the label of all snake-lovers is "weird" anyways, if truth be told!.

I feel the same exact way. The idea of a life on the road to happiness being taken and twisted into something that will never feel truly safe again is a crime beyond death. I think our judicial system is both too harsh and too soft. For sexual abuse cases or child abuse cases I think that capital punishment is only fitting. I say show no mercy to the heartless, because they'll show none for you. It's not worth the pain it cause innocent people, and if it can be spared than it absolutely should!.

Ricky, I think sometimes my sarcasm runneth over. (Ya' think?)
And the beauty, as well as lethalness, of sarcasm.....is the kernal of Truth deep inside.
