Incubator

Can you guys suggest a decent incubation system that won't break the bank? The old school way I learned from my dad was to use a 10 gal fish tank with an aquarium heater filled halfway with water and then at the top suspend your media container with perlite and sphagnum moss. And it worked great, he used to get tons of healthy babies. Since 09 he has had several clutches with issues and I believe it's because he is now using a styrofoam chicken incubator the he adapted for his corns. Should we go back to the old system? Or is there a different system we should try?

if it ain't broke don't fix it ;)

People have been hatching eggs like that successfully for years :). I do basically the same thing; I use an old Igloo cooler, fill it with about 4" of water and heat it with a submersible aquarium heater. I sit the egg containers on top of bricks. Always works :)
