Inexpensive thermostats

smigon

Old enough to know better
I bought three of these (because they are so cheap) to see if they have the correct readings and they are right on. I bought them on eBay, this is NOT my listing, but instead of spending $10 on a thermostat a cheaper $2.38 is my kind of bargain. They read in both F and C so no problem from either side of the pond, and they shipped quickly. I thought I would post my bargain here for others to enjoy.

I hope this doesn't violate rules, I just wanted to give a heads up on a good seller of something everyone with corns needs.

Well, we do need some thermostats which actually read the right temperature, and hopefully they work. Hope it works out OK!

It looks like your link is a thermometer rather than a thermostat. Is that the link that you intended to post? I was looking at a thermostat from ebay and decided to pass.

What I find interesting, though, is that this is identical to the Zoo Med thermometer that I purchased from Amazon. You can see that it is clearly the same product from the same molds, only it does not have Zoo Med stamped on it.

Don't know if they're *exactly* the same... I have a generic black thermometer and a branded ZooMed thermometer, that look identical from the front layout... but once you flip it over, the battery placement and general inside mold are considerably different. I think most companies just sort of "clone" the standard look.

But yeah, misleading topic is misleading... read as far as 2.38 and didn't even click on the link... i was just like "Well there's no way that can be a thermostat."

Hopefully you're right about it not being the same, because I would feel very bad otherwise! My little girl is going to be worth every penny, though!

Gaaa! I can't believe I mistyped that. Sorry folks, it is for a thermometer, NOT thermostat! If anyone can fix it for me I would appreciate it! Still, it's a bargain and hopefully this will help someone.
