image.jpgHere's my newest addition "Captain Morgan", special thanks to John at Pikes Peak Reptiles (formerly Colorado Corns) he's a gorgeous bucksin okeetee I've been waiting a loooong time to find. He's uber active and I'm so glad to have him here.

Very cute! You'll have to post more pictures as he grows; it's always so neat to see their colors change.

Absolutely will be posting more pics and info on him and my other younglings. I have to give him time to settle in which is so hard. He's just begging to come out and play.

Thanks Nanci, John was very helpful and I'd definitely recommend him to others. Actually I'd recommend most breeders here. Everyone in this forum is helpful, knowledgable and considerate. Big thanks and shout to all of you here for offering your smarts and even your snakelings to us all.

What a handsome snake! I love my Okeetee, and I look forward to his sheds more than anyone else!

11/11/13update of the Captain

Took these shots today 11/11/13 after his 1st shed (with me). He's now 22"inches In length. I still don't have a scale so no weight but he's looking very healthy.

I just seen this little guys thread!

he's gunna be quite handsome, but yes I love that second photo of him sticking his head out of the log,
lol I actually laughed out loud at that photo! its adorable..

He's gorgeous! I'm waiting for "my Okeetee" ... the buckskins are attracting my eye more & more. This is probably the nicest one I have seen. Congratulations!

He changed already! I used to not like buckskins, and then one day, I did. Now I like them as much as any of the other Okeetee variations.

Thanks, his just a bit brighter in color not a huge change but I think he's off to a great start. He's getting a lot of attention being the baby of the group.
