Hi! my kids and I are proud new owners of 'Melanie' we got her a few weeks ago and she is about 3mos old. Things are going well, we often worry about things (ie substrate issues- now all cleared uip) but just taking it all in stride and thankful for great forums like this!

I am guessing she may be in shed-mode now. I was a little worried about it b/c it was time to feed her: but she ate no probs.

I am sure i will have a lot of questions - so thanks in advance :)

Hello and welcome!

I fussed over my first snake constantly for the first three months, and almost a year later I still have moments where I'm sure I've killed him this time. But he's healthy and well-adjusted, in spite of my fumbling attempts at being a good owner. :laugh:

Everything will be fine. Corns are sweet, interesting, and can take us in stride as well. ;) Enjoy!
 
Melanie is adorable! If you have any more issues just stalk this site. Or ask questions. I would love to see more of Melanie!
