Irritation of skin

so my snake keeps itching his face and his nostrils are a little pinker than normal. should I be concerned?

Is he about to shed? They start to shed from the snout and the skin comes loose around the nostrils right at the very early part of the process. He might just be rubbing to make it looser.

If you're concerned, you could try putting a humid hide in with him and see if he uses it. That would help the old skin stay moisturised and make it easier to shed

Over the summer my corn, who is just over 2 years will shed every two weeks or so for about 2 months, as long as the shed comes off well, and theres no sign of any external parasites, shedding is nothing to worry about.
