Sorry 4 all the questions!! But wanna know they have snakes in my local petshop Cornsnakes they said they are about 5-6months old.. and they are not really handled only when the tank is changed!! is this a bad thing because they might not like 2 be handled and i want a corn as a good friendly pet should i buy the 6 mnoths old 1 or what???

Not really. Snakes that young usually don't like being handled anyway. If anything it's very young, being a hatchling still... Snakes generally aren't comfortable being handled until they're about a year or if the owner grins and bears it and handles it often despite the snake being less than grateful for being handled.

That age snake will be okay. If you want to be able to handle the snake all you'll have to do is work with it. You may get pooped on a few times but with time the both of you will learn how the other acts and things will work out.

My corn was 5 months when I got her and she loves to be handled by me. I have had her a month. All snakes are different though.

The place I bought my corn gets them in when they are about 6 weeks old. Mine was about 8 weeks when i got him. He's 4 months old now and has never shown any sign of agression towards me or anybody else that has held him. He's kept in my living room and seems to be well adjusted. Doesn't seem to be afraid of anything, never gets that scared stillness to him and he even gives me kisses on the lips. I probably got lucky with how mellow he always is. Just ask the person at the pet store how he reacts to being held and hold him yourself to get a feel for his personality. The first time I held mine he just chilled in my hand where as another one wouldn't stop tryin to jump off of me and to the floor. That made my decision pretty easy as to which one would fit best into my enviornment. He's not even scared of my 2 cats!
