Down but not out
So I have been reading around on the forums for a few weeks now and I see that alot of people talk about feeding thier young corns pinkies and fuzzies and such. Now my corn, Ramses, is about 2 1/2 feet long and about a 1/2 inch wide. I feed him adult mice on a regular 5 day cycle. Is this abnormal for him to eat prey so large or is he the right size. He doesn't ever seem to have problems getting the suckers down and he has yet to regurgitate. He has only skipped a meal once so far and that was because I used to feed live and he got bit :fullauto: . He is growning like crazy since I got him about 5 or 6 weeks ago and he was only like 1 1/2 - 2 feet long. What do you think?

Well, the general rule is to feed a food item that is 1.5 times the diameter of the thickest part of the snake. Basically, something that is going to leave a small lump.
If he's eating consistently, not regurging, and otherwise healthy, you are probably doing ok. I would probably cut him down to an every 7 day schedule now that he's on adult mice. There is a risk of obesity.
