Is new home adjustment time the same for older corns as for babies?

Hello all, I've just adopted a 6 year old female Amel. She is quite pretty but I'm curious if an older snake brought into a new home will need the same amount of time to adjust as a new hatchling? For my baby snow I waited a week before handling him at all, should I do the same with the adult?

Yeah for sure!

Even though she may not be as scared as a hatchling, she did just go through quite the ordeal (moving to a new home) so yeah i would give her atleast 3-5 days to settle in and acclamate. Best of luck with her! Shes lucky to have found you. :)

She is a total sweetheart. I held her briefly at the previous owner's house and then for a few minutes at home while I got her viv set up a bit better, and she is so docile and curious! I can't wait to get to know her better :)
