hi,
I was just wondering if my snow corn is acually full grown. He/She(haven't probed yet) is 33" and is about 2 1/2 years old. It has not shed for about 2 months but its eating fine. I feed it one fuzzie per week and I do not know if that is right. The person that sold me it said to feed it that so I did. If there is something wrong with my corn please tell me because it is my first cornsnake and I don't want it to die. Also I'm looking for someone to determine the sex of it too so if you know any good places in the bay area than please tell me.
Thank you for your time.

From your description, I would say that the snake could start getting bigger meals, and it is probably not yet fully grown. If you have been feeding one fuzzy per week, I suggest that you increase it to one hopper per week. The snake will probably start growing again. As soon as it gets about 36 inches and gets wider in the body, then you can probably increase the food size again to a weanling mouse or 2 hoppers per meal.

I doubt your snake is full-grown yet. I agree with Mark - increase the food size, and you will see continued growth. Although snakes continue to grow for their entire life, they will reach adult size at about 3-4 years depending on food consumption and environmental factors.

please do not probe your snake unless you know what you are doing.i hope i am not jumping the gun,but some of your questions lead me to belive you are pretty new to snake keeping.i agree with the advice given so far as reguards feeding, but as i said before get the snake sexed by whatever means you can but by someone who knows what they are doing.sorry in advance if i have offended you but probing a snake is a risky buisness if you don't know what your'e doing.good luck.

My snow corn is almost 2 yrs old and he's eating adult mice. Hes 4 1/2 feet with a width of 2 1/2 inches. I feed him every 2 weeks 2-3 adult mice each time.

UMmmm.... i've been feeding my corn pinkie rats already and she's not that big she's maybe 24" but 2 cm thick at the thickest and she seems fine she stil sheds about once every month and a half.

If i'm doin somethin wrong please lemme know.

If your corn it eating well and shedding normally then I doubt you have anything to worry about. All corns grow at different rates depending on their diet, environment and genetics. I would imagine though that pinkie rats had less nutritional value than older mice. Pinkies have a higher concentration of fat and lower levels of calcium as the bones haven't formed yet.
